Robert C. Dunn, is Trustee, Manager and In-House Counsel of The Grove at Lee’s Summit. He is a seasoned, well-respected attorney who has practiced law in California since 1960. He has extensive civil litigation experience in a multitude of areas including automobile liability, premises liability, product liability, real estate contract liability, real estate construction defects, land subsidence, will contests, professional liability, trust disputes, etc., and also maintains a probate and estate planning practice.
He has completed approximately 80 civil jury trials and dozens of arbitrations and court trials. Mr. Dunn served as a Discovery Referee and Judge Pro Tem for the Solano County Superior Court in both court and jury trials. He has served as a member of Superior Court Arbitration and Mediation panels. Active in his local community, he is the past president of the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce, the Vallejo Downtown Association, and the Solano County Bar Association. Mr. Dunn also serves as a member of the Solano County Law Library Board of Trustees. He is the 1993 recipient of the Equal Access To Justice Award from the Solano County Legal Assistance Organization and is a member of the Good Shepherd Fund Conservatorship Committee.
He began his career as a lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserve and as a deck officer of the United States Merchant Marine. Mr. Dunn received his bachelor degree from the California Maritime Academy, his masters degree in international business from California State University, San Francisco, and his law degree from the University of San Francisco.
